In Orchard Catch Challenge, you control a basket that moves left and right along the bottom of the screen. Fruits of different shapes and colors fall from the top, and your job is to position the basket directly beneath each one to catch it. Every successful catch adds points to your score. The game continues indefinitely until you make a mistake, so consistent, accurate movement matters more than speed.
Scoring, Streaks, and Multipliers
Points are awarded for each fruit caught, but the bigger reward comes from chaining catches together. Catching several fruits in a row activates a multiplier that increases the points earned per fruit. This system rewards careful planning and steady hand-eye coordination. If you miss a fruit or touch a hazard, the multiplier resets, adding risk to every decision about which items to pursue.
Hazards and Risk Management
Mixed among the falling fruits are dangerous items that look similar. Touching one of these hazards immediately ends your current run and resets your score to zero. This forces you to pay close attention to the falling items and decide quickly whether to catch or avoid each one. The tension between gathering points and avoiding hazards keeps each session engaging.
Progressive Difficulty and Session Length
As you collect more fruits, the falling speed gradually increases. What starts as a relaxed pace becomes a test of reflexes as fruits drop faster and hazards become more frequent. The difficulty curve is smooth, allowing players to build their skills over time. There is no fixed endpoint, so you can keep playing as long as you can avoid hazards. Because there is no timer, a round might last a few seconds or several minutes, depending on your skill. This makes the game suitable for quick breaks or extended play sessions.
